Great If I Wanted To Smell Like A Man!

I use Gillette razors when shaving my legs and under arms, and so naturally thought I would try their shaving gel. In our area it is called Gillette Satin Care, and is sold in 2 types of containers, one a pure cylinder and the other a sleek designed plastic one. I bought a kit that had a new razor, 2 blades, and a travel size Gillette Foam Shaving Gel.

It comes in a little green container with a purple top. The container is rust resistant and compact. It is pretty durable, and easy to find quick as the packaging is very bright in color.

The product is green in color, and comes out easily. Once rubbed, it turns from a green gel to a nice foam. It slides on my legs easily and stays well without running off.

So what’s the problem?

The SMELL . Gillette shaving gel smells like a cheap men’s cologne that I would not even have my husband caught dead wearing. It is very strong, and the odor stays in my bathroom for hours afterward. My husband always knows when I use it, because I come out of the bathroom and he says, ’’Using men’s products again, huh ... ’’

I don’t need my shaving gel to be florally, or very feminine, but I certainly do not like this unpleasant and severely manly smell coming from a woman’s shaving gel.

I would recommend the Skintimates line, it works just as well, and has a variety of pleasing scents. For the price I saw in the store ($3 and up) I could just pay $.99 and get a manly Colgate if I wanted to smell like a guy. I can’t imagine who would find this scent appealing, especially when there are many other women’s shaving gels on the market that do as well a job.
