The title of my review may sound like a horror movie but that is what I found after using this over-rated shaving razor. Like many collegians, I felt attracted to it coz of its low price and seemingly perfect for my needs. But after using it for so many years now (I wonder why Im not still dumping it) Ive realized that this product is not as good as it is made out to be. My complaints, one of its most advertised features - the ability to remove hairs from between the blades with the push of a button. The problem- It pushes out everything well enough from under the first blade, but this thing has two blades. Who will push out the stuff from under the second blade. Gillette engineers, are you listening?! God knows how many broken nails and bloodied finger tips Ive experienced while doing so. :-) If youre planning to shave daily, then maybe this wont cause much of an irritation. But for college students, who neither have the time nor the inclination to rub two pieces of sharp metal daily over their cheeks, I advise not to get it. If money is a concern, go for the disposable razors. Theyre much much better.
The only thing that attracted me to the G. Vector was the price. Even now I lap up every offer they come up with, be it a free shaving gel or whatever. Thats coz of the collegian mentality. But frankly, this product is just not worth the low price.
My opinion - thumbs down.
