Not sure how many of you heard about this brand ’Gilma’ in the space of hobs and chimneys. Neither I heard before I bought something from them! I bought a hob and chimney from them some 4-5 months just to save a few bucks(as Faber us coming out costlier by 1 or 2k) and now facing the music! Called the customer care(you won’t see a thing called customer care in their website even though somehow you manage to find out the website!) number, which the dealer gave me, for some service and the service guy turned up after 3 days and did more damage to the chimney rather than repairing it.
After that calling them ever for last 3 weeks but no response and now I’ve no other option than to buy one from some reputed company and file a complaint against Gilma. Moreover, the guys are abusive and heardly understands anything other than kannada, the local language! Anyway, I’ve suffered so thought put a review about this horrible company so that others take an informed decision. Learned in a tough way that going for a non-branded local stuff may save you a few bucks but may bring a lot of pain afterwards.
