Gionee launched its newest model of smartphones the A1 Plus in India today.
It is not available in the market as of yet, but a few assumptions could be made from its specs.
First of all I would like to highlight to you readers that The A1 Plus is Overpriced or its not much in Terms of value for money. The flagships of other leading smartphone companies such as the One Plus 3t or One Plus Five and Honor 8 are available almost at the same price as of Gionee A1 Plus and are way better in terms of both user experience and specs.
The sound and reception quality of the phone is average although battery life gets reduced during calls.
Display-
The display of A1 Plus is average when compared to the other smarphones in its price range. Although it provides a pretty high resolution screen but other smartphones with more sharp vivid and saturated colors( AMOLED etc) takes the lead inthe race.
Camera-
The camera is another key feafure ofa smartphone. Over the years more and more improved cameras and picture quality has increased our expectations. The camera quality is not premium as you would generally expect of a smartphone priced at 25k again in comparison te one plus 3t is far better. Although the company proclaims the cameras to be 20 megapixel and 13 megapixel respectively the sensor of the front camera is average and due to image processing the quality gets somewhat diminished after the picture is clicked. Where as the rear camera takes decent pictures.
GRAPHICS & PERFORMANCE
The animations are smooth due to its RAM size and Processors but at the same time the phone sometimes lags under heavy usage or under continious gaming while gps is kept on.
It performance is good overall but still not as much compared to the One plus 3t or 5.
Others-
The phone is water resistant and splash proof with increased battery life that lasts for a whole day.
The phone is thin but not that slim due to its increased battery cap.
This is a really good phone overall but
Id say better buy a great phone than settle for a good one.
