Featuring a 5.5-inch 720p HD AMOLED display, the Gionee S6 is powered by a Mediatek MT6753 processor and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. While the rest of the specs of the Gionee S6 is similar to any other budget smartphones in the range of Rs 12, 000, the price tag left us desiring for more.Having spent a few days with this smartphone looking out for something extraordinary, here is our take.
Design and Display
The Gionee S6 doesn’t really stand out in this domain. Like other Chinese smartphones, the S6 looks very common. Aesthetically, the device is pleasing but it can be easily confused with devices like the Honor 5X or Le 1s.
The bar-shaped Gionee S6 comes with rounded edges. The front is dominated by the display. It also houses the earpiece, 5MP selfie camera and navigation keys.
