We had gone to puchase LCD TV to their showroom. As soon as we entered the showroom, a sales guy asked us what we are looking for. We told him about LCD TV and the advertisement they placed in the newspaper. In advertisement, they told so many gift items with LCD TV. When we enquired the same with the sales guy, he told there are no gift items.
He showed us 22" sony LCD TV and qouted the price as Rs. 26, 900/-. I was shocked to hear the price. I checked earlier on the website and found around 17, 900/-. He told that he would give us 4 GB pen drive free. We chose another sales guy and asked him to show us other brands. That guy was okay and he showed us 32" LCD TV and qouted Rs. 20, 000/-. The earlier sales guy saw this and started fighting with this guy for quoting less. He did not bother that we are listening. Then we realized that the prices are based on the customer. No fixed price. I suspect there should be some commission for sales guy for qouting more prices.
They had placed an ad saying 0% interest, 0% hidden charges, 0% processing fees. Its all fraud. I opted for monthly installments and they charged me Rs. 1500/- as processing fees.
Never tell the sales guy that you are opting for monthly installments. You need to say that you’ll purchase with cash. Then only they say the correct price.
I request the prospective customers not to visit GIRIAS. They are very rude and will harass you.
