Beautiful, timeless collection of poems.

Written by the Nobel prize winning prolific writer, Gitanjali, which means song offerings, is a collection of poems. To be specific, Gitaanjali comprises of 157 poems in total.

The poems by Tagore are immensely inspiring and will take you on a spiritual, religious journey where you learn a great deal. Reading this book once is not enough, I keep going back to this book as the poems are beautiful and motivating. Poems like Mind without fear have been adapted in different forms in modern culture. Decades have passed, but this collection of poems is still evergreen and has not lost its beauty.

Few of the poems that I find truly inspiring are as follows: Journey Home, When Day is Gone, Moment’s Indulgence, little flute and the list goes on as I find that the poems are incomparable to each other.

Every single poem offers a new experience. It has been translated in different languages, so that more people and read this master piece by Rabindranath Tagore.
