Cheap Tricks of a Large Group.
Gitanjali group ( D’Damas? Rings a bell?) and Times Group form Gitanjalishop. I go with the Gitanjali Name.
Ordered an item (order No.9000001283) on Gitanjalishop after written chat transcript confirms that item would be delivered well in time of my requirement.
I tell them either by or before that date or no order. They accept, take payment but no delivery. Chat says something, Order page something else, the e-mail confirmation another date and then the CSE a fourth date.
When I asked for cancellation, they say order once placed cannot be cancelled while stating the item is not in Stock. They give me a cancellation request id 378878.
Then I get a call stating order once placed cant be cancelled. I post on MouthShut.com. I get an escalation call and they say Gitanjali does not have stock of the product. I said either that product or no product. Second call says, they will arrange and ask me to wait till 23rd Aug., 2013 and they would get it delivered at any cost. Then in another call they ask for deadline of 30th August, 2013. The Item is not delivered yet. Know why? I paid for the cost of Silver on that day - the prices went up over the week due to the rupee downfall.
Wonder if this is ethical? And yes, the item is still advertised for delivery in four days, of course at an escalated cost. Don’t believe me ?
