You can play these songs whereupon you get other data such as date of writing, place and age of the poet at the time, the category under which it falls, the relevant raga, the taal etc. You not only get the song lyrics but the actual notation behind it.The same may be sung by a number of artistes.Indeed there 2891 songs.
Other than this the audio DVD contains Tagore’s operas, songs sung by the poet and poetry recited by him.There is much more in this album which comes as a CD-DVD combo. You have to install the software on your PC to listen to the DVD.This steeply priced album is for people who want to learn Tagore’s music in totality but do not have the means to do so.For instance people who are too old to attend a music school.
