I had a very bad experience with GLEN chimney. I had purchased it in the year 2007. It is only 2 yrs old. Glen people are very good at marketing and telling hell lot of lies about their good services which is not even 1% correct. I am the suferrer of the same good words.
GLEN VERY BAD AFTER SALES SERVICE. IN FACT THE SERVICE PEOPLE NEVER TURN UP AFTER MAKING SEVERAL CALLS. IF YOU BUY TILL YOUR PRODUCT WORKS IT IS FINE BUT ONCE IT IS OUT OF ORDER THERE IS NO WAY OUT
While they sell their product they say that 4 services would be free but they did not turn up for a single free service. Last month my chimney was not working so I called up their person. One of them came and opened up the chimney and was trying to move off from my house dirtying my kitchen with scattered parts. It was good that my father was home and shouted at him and asked him to fit the product as it was if he cannot service it. He was telling that he would come the next day with some parts. But my father did not leave him and he joined the parts and went off and it is nearly one month he never turned after several calls. if that day my father would not have shouted then I would be there with my dirty kitchen and scattered parts.
Day before yesterday when my husband called up for service then they said if we want an exchange offer then they are ready to come to our house then my husband said yes and they did not take a minute to reach my residence as they thought they would be making a sale but when they came I told them about the bad service and they also ran off telling that they would be sending a service person who till date did not arrive.
I would never recommend this product. Now I have ended up with oily kitchen as my chimney does not work and looking for a competitors products for changing it.
