A 17mm cylindrical white tube with green patches on it in circular patterns, tapering towards the end with a cylindrical cap at the other end, yes I am talking about the Amway product, Glister toothpaste the description of whose container i’ve just narrated.But is the tube all that different from other paste tubes?....a vehemant no!However the stuff inside has to be considering the very different results of its use are both better and different from usual.So, what makes Glister different or shall we say ’special’ because thats exactly what it is.

FUNDAS BEHIND ITS SPECIALITY:
1.CHEMICAL FUNDA ’Glister’ toothpaste has a patented formula LS-928.This patented formula is made of clay based ingredients that provides a polishing agent that polishes tooth enamel removing stains making teeth whiter.
But, surely all toothpastes do that sort of a thing?
Yes, but LS-928 is composed of small particles that are flat and oval shaped.The fine particle shape and size, relative to other toothpastes provides polishing action without excessive harshness to tooth, due to its comparitively lesser rigidity.
And, what if some enamel is still removed?
It contains floride which remineralises whatever little tooth enamel is removed even by the cautious and fine abrasive action of Glister.
So, how does this floride work?
Floride encourages the calcium and phosphate in saliva to remineralize the teeth.It replaces the hydroxyl ions in the natural calcium phosphate compound, hydroxypatite that makes up our teeth.The substitution converts it to more acid resistant fluorapatite, which is also more rigid preventing attack by germs in soft form.It also has been amajor public health success in eradicating ’dental caries’ adisease whose occurence has now reduced, but is still ubiquitous.
2.FUNDAS OUT OF TRYING AND TESTING
A.It very gently and ably removes surface stains and discolouration caused by coffee, tea and smoking.
B.Helps remove plaque with precision.
C.Very effective in preventing cavities.
D.It is safe for everyone but children below 3 yrs should avoid its use because at their tender age in spite of Glister being a very safe bet, ’fluorosis’ as a possibility can never be ruled out I guess.
E.It has avery effective minty flavour which infuses lasting fresh breath.
3.MY FUNDAS OUT OF EXPERIENCE WITH VARIOUS PASTES
Well, i have used many other toothpastes before Glister.This is why I am so strongly in favour of Glister:
A.Colgate one would notice does more of the breath freshening than actually cleaning teeth.
B.Close-up I thought did both but for very short periods.
C.Forhans was a so-so for brushing of teeth but hardly did anything for one’s breath.
D.Both Pepsodent and Aquafresh were pretty satisfactory but nothing great. Glister however, as a toothpaste is pretty complete and imean no exaggeration when I say that. We see numerous ads day in and day out, but hardly ever get the results portrayed by the ads.However, when one uses Glister, it doesn’t take more than a week to notice the marked changes in the way you feel.The freshness is carried on throughoput the day irrespective of how many hours you’ve kept your mouth open and closed.At the same time it’s doing necessary justice to your teeth.
4.AN ADDITIONAL FUNDA FOR ANIMAL LOVERS
Most toothpastes still use the rat test where in one tests 200 live baby rats with their heads clamped to stereotaxic development and antichemicals are applied to their teeth.The rats are decapitated for 3 weeks after which their jaws are cut open for examination. While majority of the companies including Colgate and Palmolive still use their test, Amway has submitted to FDA (Food and drug Association) a nominal test for Glister toothpoaste and has signed PETA’S (People for ehtnic treatment of animals)statement of assurance stating that that it uses no animal tests on ingredients, formulations, finished products and never will.

I won’t go into how to use it as surely by now i’m sure everyone reading this knows how to use a toothbrush and paste.Surely, the price will be an eyebrow raiser no doubt. But take it from me, a hardcore Glister user for 2 years now and not from some casual occasional user, that what you get in exchange for the extra 50 bucks you pay is definitely by no means a regrettable feeling.On the contrary, it’s quite the opposite.The user is bound to derive great satisfaction by its use. Do give it a go and do justice to this excellent product.
