I will tell you my experience in details since the day I took the membership on 1st May 2016. I visited Big Bazar near by my home on 30-Apr-16 and asked to fill a coupon by a sales representative where I provided my phone number. On the very next day, I got a call from global connect that I have won 5 prizes as part of the lucky draw. They said you need to visit global connect pune offices and can collect the prizes after listening a presentation. When asked about the presentation details, they replied we will explain you the use of products being gifted as part of the prizes. When we(me and my wife) went there, it was completely a different scenario where sales executives of global connect tried to sell their services related to tour and travel. We had almost spent three hours and finally they convinced us to take their membership. The most attractive point(on the basis of which we agreed to take membership) is that we can ask them to book a hotel of OUR CHOICE. I even gave an example of booking Taj hotel in Mumbai, they said yes we can definitely book a room in Taj Mumbai. Later on, we asked them to book a hotel in Goa and provided the list of hotels of our choices. Got a reply that we can only book hotels as per their choices(The list provided by them are mostly 3* property). Then the conflict started between us and we visited their offices for the refund of money. They said the money is not refundable and we need to try the service first. I asked to book a hotel in Lonavala for a day from their choices of hotels(As they keep on promising that they do have a list of good properties, we should try their service). The hotel booked in Lonavala was a very average property and it was such low from our expectation that we checked out in a couple of hours. Then onward, I don’t have faith that they can server better. I am fighting for my money since then. I forgot to mention that in all these days me and my wife has to follow 100 times for every small thing.
Now, I will give you the logic why it’s not worthy to purchase their membership.
Cost of Membership - INR 80k to 1 lakh for 5 years period(they might have charged more or less for some of the members). In a year they provide 6N & 7 Days package, so total 30 nights in 5 years.
Also, member has to pay AMC charge of INR 8000 for 6N & 7D which is 8000/6= 1333 rs for a day. It will cost you 1333* 30= 40000 rs for 5 years membership.
AMC charges is supposed to pay while booking.
Let’s assume if you have paid 80k for the membership. Then,
Total cost= Membership Charges+ AMC= 80, 000+ 40, 000= 1, 20, 000 Rs
Day level= 1, 20, 000/30= 4000 rs.
They usually provide 3* property which doesn’t cost more than 4k to 5k for a day. They book trips via goibibo, make my trip, yatra and other big players of the market in bulk amounts and generate enough cashback on each booking. Now if you book your holidays on your own via goibibo/MMT/Yatra, you should be able to generate cashback on each booking and can be used for the next booking which is far cheaper than paying them 80k at one short.
Their package is only helpful for us if they really provide booking in nice 5* hotels(Taj, Leela, etc) which are hard to afford for us. But they don’t have tie up with nice hotels and they always force you to go with their low budget hotel.
Also, one point to note here their rating on Mouth shut has gone high because they have purchased the mouth shut subscription and I think they probably can hide or change original reviews and somehow has managed to increase their rating. Their rating was very low(less than 2) a couple of months ago.

In summary - Don’t fill up the coupons in big bazar, petrol pump, other places. It’s a trap.
People who have already paid, fight back for the refund.
