Global Fusion Review

*Global Fusion

Location:  Andheri East › B 1, Times Square Tech Park, Andheri Kurla Road, Sakinaka Junction, Andheri East, Mumbai*

What do you like or dislike about this place?

I visited this place once with friends. And I am in love with this place. We had opted for the Buffet option on a Sunday evening and it was worth every penny we paid.

Ambience:  It was a little chaotic but I would blame the day we chose – Sunday – Evening! What can I expect? But I really loved the crowd. It is a good place to hang out with friends and family.

Food: I being an ultimate foodie loved this place. They had really good options and loads of it.

Quantity: Quantity was enough for a single person / per dish. As it is we took multiple repeats of the Prawns with cheese and garlic and some of the ultimate superstar of the evening.

Music: they need to change the music. We were listening to songs of a language that I couldn’t understand at all. Maybe just instrumentals are fine for the next time.

What was the food like? Comment on flavor, temperature, portion size and appeal.

Yummmmm! I tried my first sushi and I loved it… I have always been a little reluctant with Sushi and always kept it for ‘some other time’. But this time I tried it and it was awesome.

I loved the Garlic Bread. The corn starters were really worth a repeat. My soul mate for the evening was the prawns(with skins on) slit from the middle with cheese and pepper. Yumm!

I and my friends didn’t get a chance to go to the Main Course Section. We were stuffed and satisfied in the Starters Section.

The portion size was moderate. For a big time foodie like me who can eat 2 plates of something at a time, a little more quantity would have been better.  But yes given the range of food items they covered the portions were pretty decent.

I loved the dessert section too, but maybe a few more options would have been good. The small gulab jamuns were too cute to eat.

Are reservations necessary?

I am not sure if it is. The place is very crowded on a weekend. So we had made our reservations well in advance to be sure that we had good food throughout the evening.

Overall, I had a great experience and can’t wait to try it again this time on a Weekday.
