Please do not go to Global Hospital Lakdi ka pul if you want your loved one to heal and survive. They are there only to loot money, force unnecessary the patient attenders using scare tactics and not giving them time to think and have second opinions or go to another hospital.
There are only junior residents under one senior doctor per specialization and although there are 2-3 DM’s for each specialty mostly one DM with very junior doctors or residents, who are still studying are checking upon the patients. Even ICU patients are treated like herds of cattle. The ICU’s are ill maintained with A/C not working at times and not enough sterile.
Most of the critical patients admitted there contract infections and spend days getting treated in ICU’s some come out alive and some succumb. As someone wrote a review here that the doctors do not treat to heal but only give you bunch of reasons and a dead body that is what happened to out patient our beloved as well. It is understaffed and all very junior or fresh of colleges nurses are employed here. And some of them behave like municipality sweepers. shouting and screaming at patients as if they are cattle.
Proactive care is not given. Nurses are busy talking or writing charts than attending to patient needs. Most of them don’t even know what to do and are still learning at the cost of the patient. They truly do not know to handle complicated cases, in fact they make the cases complicated by making wrong decisions, not taking timely decisions for a aggressive treatment plan, and are busy throwing the ball in others court if things start to slip out of hand.
The Junior doctors are so under knowledge d in their own field that u feel ashamed they are treating your loved one. And also by then it is too late to pull out your patient. A normal patient who could have easily survived had the hospital’s ICU been maintained sterile, doctors giving aggressive proactive treatment and more care by nursing staff had to succumb due to lack of it.
Our patient would have lived few more years and probably longer if the greedy doctors who are more interested in minting money for the hospital than the life of the patient, age and relative factors, had not forced a surgery. Within no time our patient acquired one after the other complication and became bad to worse and what was left for us was a still body thrown at us with no regrets....it is a SHAME to this hospital and majority of care givers working there.......RUN AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL....!!!!
