My true first hand experience regarding BGS hospital BangaloreMy mom complaining of stomach burn suspecting acidity in the stomach was taken to BGS by me. Dr. Ravindra BS(Gastro) diagnosed her with neuro Endocirne tumor of pancreas and referred to Dr. Srikanth G from the same hospital and as per Dr Srikanth(Gastro surgery director) advised me that surgery is a must and subsequently got my mom admitted for surgery. Post surgery, he told me it was not pancreatic cancer but duodenum tumor. After that my moms bile juice output would continuously increase.
The entire Gastro Surgical team came up repeatedly with plan A, plan B, plan c at the expense of the patients emotions and cost and finally delivered a dead body to us on the date of discharge. Cause of death was massive pulmonary embolism. u only get reasons as to why this happenned. Doctors inspite of having long list of degrees against their names and charging high amount dont have the knowledge and expertise to deal with complicated patients (my mom was taking anti psychotic drugs and this was revealed to them before admission to hospital). My mom died in the hospital becoz the doctors could not prevent pulmonary Embolism which I read is a common threat to immobile patients (like during surgery). Please avoid BGS. when they handed me the dead body, I was given a bill of Rs. 5.8 lakhs).
BGS is costly but they cant handle complications. they give you only medical reasons after reasons. All u get is a dead body and a bunch of medical reasons. Avoid BGS if you value your dear ones. It was the biggest mistake of my life to put my mom under the care of Dr. Srikanth. My mom would have survived for a few more years even if surgery was avoided. Dr. Ravindra, you should not have referred me to Dr. Srikanth.
