I booked my luggage to be transported from Bangalore to Punjab on 14.09.2014 and left for Punjab soon after. After 10 days, when I called them up to find the status, they tell me that what I had paid for, is less and another 10, 000 would be needed to start the procedure. After a lot of argument, he agreed to ship the luggage at same cost as it was not my mistake.
After the given deadline of 20 days got over, I called them. They were unwilling to give driver details and started lying about the status. It even came to such a state that a transporter’s contact given to me was actually one of the Globe employees pretending to be a transporter. Eventually they stopped answering my calls.
Finally the luggage reached the destination on 05.11.2014. When asked the transporter, the luggage movement just took 7 days. Other days it was just lying in the godown.
Maybe I faced this because the location was a little remote. But I expected a minimum level of sincerity from the employees regarding what was happening to my luggage, not false commitments.
I personally would never trust my luggage with these guys.
