Most of the persons I know have used gmail as their first mail account.Gmail is a free email service provided by Google.
App for gmail is available for both "android" and "iOS".
For using gmail you first need to sign up with your basic details and creating the email id and setting the password in first step. So after registering you can simply use your created email ID and password for your new mail address.
Gmail is available in 72 languages and with a user base of more than 1 Billion it is famous everywhere in the world.
As of now it offers 15 gigabytes(15gb) of free storage to the user .There is a limit of size for sending that is you can send am il upto 25mb while you can receive a mail upto the size of 50mb.
Speaking of Gmail app for android it has a very nice interface . It comes with tabbed interface the different tabs available in gmail app are "All Inboxes" if you are using different accounts at one time, Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates and Forums.
It has also different labels available such as Starred, Important, Sent, Outbox, Drafts, Personal, Receipt, Work, Travel etc. which comes handy in categorising your mails,
It has setting tabs which you can use to change the settings for your account. For composing a mail you just need to click the one touch button available on the primary interface of your gmail app and you can write mail directly and can attach the attachments upto 25 mb.
It has nice spam filtering feature and you can change the language on your will.
Overall for me gmail app is a must app on my mobile for my mail communications.A very simple and elegant app for your mail communications
