Booked a Chennai-mumbai-Chennai ticket on 23rd October 06.
Cancelled the Chennai-Mumbai flight on 11 November 06 and got a voucher number for Rs. 1900 - which their systems dont allow me to avail for the last 4 months! Ultimately I lost the voucher number and now have no way of claiming what is rightfully mine.
More interestingly, the carrier itself cancelled the Mumbai-Chennai flight days before schedule in December, which meant that I had to book a flight on another airline at a higher cost(this happened with me earlier too). Not just that, 3 months after the cancellation(today is February 07), I have yet to get the refund of Rs 3100 on my credit card as promised
After making a million STD calls to their "helpline" I have been placed on hold EVERY SINGLE TIME till I hung up in exasperation after holding for durations at least 5 minutes to 18 minutes! No one calls after you sms GoAir to 3636. The head office line in Mumbai is activated by an IVR response, which dies down on its own after a while. There is no email ID anywhere.
PLEASE DO NOT BOOK TICKETS WITH THEM. THEY ARE JUST A FRAUD COMPANY TO FLEECE MONEY!

Should have updated this on 26th January, 2007, but here I am in any case.
After this review on Mouthshut, I got an M2M from a member who helped me out with the email ID of GoAirs Customer Care head. On the same day, a friendly gentleman from their corporate office called me to sort out all my issues(he said that my voucher was invalid, but credited it in any case. Rs 600 was deducted for cancellation, which I felt was slightly, not completely unfair- since I cancelled because THEY didnt have seats on the fligth I wanted to reschedule to. Anyway, booked myself with the voucher on a flight between Delhi and Chennai(via Pune). The flight was on time, despite my worries about fog. Staff service was helpful. However, I went terribly hungry since they offered only 2 cookies(for Rs 20/-) and cashewnuts(small packet for 20/- again). I started form home at 9 am, and reached my destination at Gurgaon at 4 pm. And had(well, almost) nothing to eat those 7 hours and was ravenous!
All in all, thank you Mouthshut(and the M2M samaritan) for helping me get what was my rightful due. So if your booking is OK, and if you carry solid food with you when you travel, GoAir is good to go!
Cheers
