Just got off after a 45 min losing battle with the Call Centre at Go Air so thought at least I should share my experiences here.
I booked a flight way back in March.
Change of plans so asked for a cancellation
Am given a voucher instead - and nothing I did make a difference ( emails/ phone calls nothing)
Use the voucher for a trip Blr- Mum
Sent a message that flight is now rescheduled and will reach me to Mumbai at 2 am instead of 11.30 pm !!!
Want a cancellation
Three emails , two 45 mins conversations , not only did I have to pay the cancellation fees but get saddled with a voucher again - that too a verbal one ( nothing in writing) .
The voucher biz is incidentally against the Government rules which specify that cash has to be refunded back to the card which was used . (DGCA issued a circular in 2008). Have not faced any such issues with Jet/ KF/ Indian Airlines et al. Go Air seems to be an exception
