Customer Service - Nah Blame it on the computer!

I travelled through Go air on 9th Dec from Chennai to Mumbai, while the flight was OK, I misplaced my Boarding Pass. Once I realised the same, I went to the Go Air counter in Mumbai Airport since I needed the boarding pass to claim LTA (Leave Travel Allowance). LTA is not given if boarding pass is not given as per Govt rules.


The Go Air counter refused to give me a duplicate boarding pass, so I suggested that they give me a letter that I had indeed travelled by that flight. They asked me to contact their Call Center. I then called Go Air close to a dozen times, spoke to different agents, to no avail.


They refuse to give a letter or even an email with the words stating that I had travelled quoting " Computer System doesnt allow Sir". I dont believe an individual in Go Air cannot send an email with these words.


I tried talking to a supervisor/manager, but no luck - apparently as per internal rules, phone agents arent supposed to divulge such details !!!!


This is ridiculous behavior and bad customer service - all for an email with the words "Boarded"!!!!!
