PLEASE, IF you have no other choice to fly within India, Other than GoAir, Then my humble suggestion is that you may please opt for ever dependable Indian Railways. Even if you tell this airline staff and go to the railway station, They wont even mind, since, they would be the most unaware group of people, about CUSTOMER SERVICE, PUNCTUALITY, CREDIBILITY etc regarding the airline business.
Be it, Bombay, Bangalore, Cochin, Delhi or Hyderabad, neither on board, nor before boarding you
pls dont expect anything which you would term as passenger support, punctuality.
Right from the tele call to their phone numbers onwards you would be terrorised because of their sheer stubborn-ness. Ground operations, baggage handling, passenger help, flight announcements, in-flight announcements, lack of periodicals on board, casual-ness of the on board staff etc etc would even make you think why the inland aviation was thrown open to private groups / corporates.
When one of my senior colleague warned me regarding GoAir before my first travel with GoAir, I never expected this low level of experiences. When I travelled 2nd / 3rd time, I expected some degree of development in services which never happened. All other times I was forced to travel with GoAir because either of my official or personal time deadlines.
God only knows, why the famous Wadia family is wasting their own money to tarnish their own group image.
