I have traveled Go Air before and it was always disappointing. The schedule adherence was bad, staff was unfriendly and badly dressed. Very "cattle class" experience. For a change, my last flight was quite the opposite experience.
Firstly, I booked the flight in an emergency. The help desk was helpful in answering all my queries. The check in process was fast. The staff was making a very obvious and was seemed quite an artificial attempt to be friendly. But at least they are making an attempt - which is way better than what they were earlier.
The boarding process was good. Looks like they have changed the uniforms of the cabin crew and gone from a more casual jeans to a more professional attire. Still it doesnt have the charm of Indigos uniform.They need to be more proactive in handling the boarding process - there was some confusion in the cabin (caused by some very idiotic passengers), nothing that an attentive crew member could have quickly resolved.The in flight service was the usual.
The best part was the punctuality. On time departure and on time arrival. Plus the lowest cost at that time-day. What more does a passenger want.
It looks like they are trying to shed their reputation of an always late unfriendly airline. They are not there yet but looks like they are trying hard.
