On 16th Oct, 2010 we (I, my wife and my 12 yrs old daughter) were supposed to fly from Delhi to Patna at 4.30 PM. On 15th Oct at 4.30 PM I got a SMS that my flight has been rescheduled at 1:30 AM. I contacted the airline and they advised me take a fresh booking in another flight leaving Delhi at 10.30 PM on 16th of Oct. I agreed to that and accordingly we reached the airport at 9PM on 16th of Oct.
Then they told that the flight has been rescheduled for 1:30 AM and they issued us the Boarding Pass for that. At 12.30 night they informed us that the flight has been cancelled and now we were asked to take the morning flight leaving Delhi at 7.20 AM. We requested the duty manager to arrange for our night stay but criminally refused to make any alternative arrangement.
They cancelled the Boarding pass (Im still retaining the photocopies of the cancelled Boarding Passes.) issued to us and we were thrown out of the airport premises. Whole night we waited outside. In morning the flight left for Patna at 9AM morning instead of 7.20AM scheduled time. I lodged a written complaint against them at their counter. I am retaining the receipt of the complaint.
Im a heart patient taking treatment at Escorts-Fortis, New Delhi. It was a death trap for me by the GO AIR line.
I request the Top Management including the Chairman of this GOAIR Airline to get the whole issue investigated and respond to my charges, otherwise I would be forced to take up this matter at appropriate legal forums.
I also request the Ministry of Civil Aviation to look into the whole issue to punish the Airline for their Criminal Negligence.
I have got every document to prove my charges leveled against GOAIR and I’m ready to produce those, whenever it is required.
