My flight from Delhi to Bagdogra has been rescheduled from 1140 hrs to 1245 hrs. In addition, it was a non-stop flight that has been changed to a flight with two stopovers. I tried to cancel the flight but it seems that I will not get any refund but will instead have to pay Rs. 154 extra to cancel the ticket. I tried to call Go Air Customer Care number 1 800 210 0999. I was put on hold twice due to "heavy traffic" by the IVR(each time for 35 minutes) and then the number automatically got disconnected without my having spoken to any customer care executive.
The PNR for my flight is J7VS9J. I would like the DGCA to look into this; however, considering that all our institutions are compromised and all Ïndian regulators suffering from "regulatory capture" by the regulated companies, I am not sure anything will happen.
It appears that Indians will now have to travel as per the convenience of corrupt airline companies and be cheated by these companies without any recourse to any redressal by anyone. Good days are really here!
