I have a terrible experience of Go-Air in getting a cancellation and subsequent refund. Due to the J&K floods, I had to cancel a flight booking done on Mumbai-Leh sector. Go-Air simply did not allow me to cancel it, despite I trying incessantly on their web site, sent e mails and calls to their call centre. Finally, they responded when I sent a stinker by Speed post.
Next. I had to cancel another Go-Air flight, Jammu Mumbai. As per policy, they are not supposed to levy any cancellation fee for cancellations made during J&K floods. But Go-Air works on their profits, not rules. They levied the cancellation fees. After I again reminded them, they very reluctantly returned the money to the intermediary - Make-My-Trip.
Now I am fighting a losing battle with Make-My-Trip for last 20 days. They have a great solution - simply do not respond.
So, if you are thinking of dealing with these two, beware.
