Well I boarded my flight to Goa on Goair with some trepidition, having read mostly bad reviews about it.. However the flight was on time(at least one way). The seats were comfortable, the cabin crew seemed amateurish but at least was courteous, (much more than Air Sahara(now Jet airways))..
There was minor turbulence on the ascent but it soon smoothened out. The food was all paid(cuppa noodles.. sheesh) but for that kinda cheap tickets I wouldnt mind eating bhuni moongfali...
No baggage problems, thankfully .... On the way back things changed... The flight was 2 and a half hours late. But I received FOUR sms es and 1 email.. (no phone calls though) telling me about the delay. So since I wasnt in a tearing hurry to get out of Goa anyway I was not much bothered.. All in all, If I had taken a Rajdhani express, I would have spent 2 days just to go and would have paid more. For just 2 hours of flight time, I wouldnt even mind standing.. Would definitely recommend the risk...
Cheers for Low cost airlines..
