Good going GoAir

I was on Flight G8111 on 13/03/2006 an on G8112 on 15/03/2006 and I must say that GoAir has done an excellent job since its inception in November, 2005. Then in March (just 4 months old) and faced with many problems with the stiff competition with the other LCC giving away tickets at irrational fares, GoAir looks to do very well in the long run. The Inflight crew was really friendly and I felt as if I am talking to a friend of mine and not to any person who I have just met. The inflight manager ((i think his name was Gaurav) was a nice person and he also allowed me to see the cockpit when we were on ground. The cabin crew made me check out the galley when requested by me and also gave me an opportunity to try the jump seat. Farah Merchant (the Flight stewardess was so nicely trained and well groomed. She was really helpful and knew her job really well. However, I wasn’t happy with the ground staff as I could see that the shoes of the ground staff were not neatly polished and they had also lost shape. We don’t expect queens in the skies and on ground but a shoe being nicely polished is something which I’d definitely expect from an executive who comes in direct contact with the pax.


Anyways, I think Mr. Wadia is a doing a good job. WAY TO GO JEH.
