The goa airport is pretty basic and one shouldn’t expect much from it. I wish the whole place was organized a lot better. The infrastructure inst that great either. Ill start with the arrivals section. walking from the aircraft towards the airline is all right but it just gets worse as you walk out. It gets more and more congested until finally when you go out and are standing in the middle of the road looking for a cab.
What the planning authority should have done is designed the airport to be more friendly towards taxis and hotel vehicles and organized it in such a way. Another suggestion is a shuttle bus going to the tourist district of goa. Would definitely help tourists as the tourist centre is a 700 rupee cab ride..These form the majority of passengers to the airport and it would really help if the airport was designed in a better way.
As for the departure terminal its pretty much the same story..the less said the better. I really hope the government does something about these airports and renovates all of them...
