Go Wild...Go Crazy...Go-Aaah!!!

Spent a year in that place, and swore I would make it back every year for a holiday atleast. Haven’t been able to keep that up. But...the memories of Goa that form a kaleidoscope of images in my mind keep pulling me back to that little place.

I have been to most of the beaches in Goa, and no two are the same. Believe me!! If you are planning on a holiday to this place, I would suggest you hire a bike, get a hold of a map, and drive down the coastline, visiting each of the beaches on the way.

A friend of mine, Joel, and I did that once. We started at Vasco, and drove right down to Palolem (near the Karnataka border). We even stopped for breakfast, where we had beer and fish (!!!!). The trip culminated with a swim, lunch and walk around the hills in Palolem.

Another one worth doing is a walk from Baga beach (near Panjim) to Fort Aguada. You get to see a whole strip of beaches including Calangute.

However, one of my favourite haunts in Goa remains Bogmalo. And another, Hollant!! Very private...so much closer to nature!

When I think of Goa, I can smell the sea, hear the gush of the waves hitting against the rocks, hear the sizzling sound of the sea creeping up the sea shore. I can see in my mind’s eye the blue waters playing with the white sands.

The beer...the feni...the fish....and those people who embody the spirit of Goa...I love it all..!!!
