I have been travelling in goa for the last 6 days from 30th June to 5th july. It raining badly, all beaches are not a worthy visit. above all the police is harassing the tourist. In panjim circle when you take a turn to old goa- the google map get confused in the circle. most of the cars and bikes take a wrong turn- where exactly policemen are standing saying its NO U Turn. every day 100’s of tourist get caught and are forced to pay minimum of 1000. SO BE CAREFUL.
Second location, if you are travelling from old goa church to shantadurga temple or Mangeshi temple- there is a group of policemen in the circle just before a ghat to Mangeshi temple, they loot you and will never miss any one. Why does Goa government wants to loot the tourist, when you main income is from the Tourist itself. Been travelling to goa many many times, but this is the first time I see such harassment. Tourists be careful.
