GOA. A tourists paradise

Goa is Beautiful.

Hi, for once I would recommend Goa as a tourist paradise.

The reason what the tourist who come look out for is all

found there.

For instance beaches with shacks are let out to rent, bars,

good goan food as well as the people are not hostile.

Friendly atmosphere, I would advice people to go place called

Carina Beach as there is a resort there called Carina resort

I have lived there for a week, good place with continental or

english breakfast cost you around Rs750.00 for non ac for ac

may be a bit more for a couple.

It is just 4 or 5 kms away from Margao city, you want to

enjoy go now and eat all the mangoes, jackfruits and cashews

as much as you want.

1.Panjim is the main city of Goa, and all people out there

really live life, you will not get to see many cars but

plenty of motorbikes who take you to places you want to go

for an amount.

We had our own vehicle, so on this I cannot give you much

information.

2.Greenery of every kind, mango grooves, paddy fields,

jackfruit trees, cashews the fruit I used to halt the jeep

and go out breaking mangoes.

Mischevious are’nt I yes with children I become a child

I have a lot of family there, but I prefer being alone

I go out meet them, call them to the hotel, go to their

houses for lunch, but staying from this crowded life I be

on my own, either my husband, brother and his kids some

one stays with me.

3.You know I like the way the goan people relax, they really

live a tension free life, shops open up lesiurely close

down for a siesta, then open and by 8.00pm it’s good night.

It’s like early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy

wealthy and wise.

You see people get up early the women folk to all their

jobs, and then go out and work in fields.

I admire them honestly, we people are lazy in front of them.

Once we get their lives I am sure I will throw out all the

medicines I take.

4.Pollution free it is in the country side, We have built a

house there so I am going for the Puja of my home.

So any mouthshut members are welcome.

5.There is a place called Maim Lake it is also a nice spot,

There is a hotel there which name when I recollect I will put it

down reasonable charges around Rs550.00 or something but a

place you can relax and get home cooked food.

6.Calangute, Bicholim , Mapusa, and so many beaches Goa is

fun, during the carnival it is difficult to even get a place

to stay people live on streets for that time as all hotels

are booked, so go during the carnival in Jan the climate

is too good then.

7.Old Goa the church of Saint Francis of Asisi,

St.Francis Xavier is there and his body is very much there

in it’s casket.

The people of Goa are staunch Catholics, tourist who like

to see old churches and such things will enjoy Goa’s this

place in particular.

Take the bus which takes you on a tour they will show all

places Dona Paula is one more place not to be missed.

8.Enjoy the goan food but be careful, cause it is very

pungent I got myself in trouble for one day then to I ate

the bangda rechad was lovely, it is a fish fried in with

spices put as stuffing.

9.Go out to place called Costa’s and buy the best of goan

sweet especially a sweet called Dodol it’s good.

They have plenty of varieties and do not forget the goa

cashew nuts to carry home take the skinless ones for kids

and broken ones to prepare any dish, but the ones with the

skin take it for yourselves to eat and you will know the

difference in taste.

10.Viva re Goa, hey I am coming so welcome me back all of

you out there. Because Goa is Goa, can there be anything

better, to have a relaxing holiday away from the hectic

life we lead for that Goa is the best.

If a goan reads this here is something for you.

Mogan asun bhorey. jeevit sukhi khorey, shetol kai chey vaarey

kalzan astey khorey. Borya moga so fo amka ditolo dau,

These words mean. It is good being in love, because life

is true then as a cool wind is true to the heart.

God will give the benefits of true love.

I bid you a Good night and sweet dreams.
