I think it is god of all things

I personally think this is a wonderful book written by a wonderful writer. the book has a lot of depth in it and emotes very well.

i had heard of this book and thus decided to buy it and read it and now I know that I made the right decision.

the authors style is very comprehensive. she can express what the characters must be feeling very well. you can really understand each and every thing that is going on in the story.

in this story you kind of get to know about culture and how families stay together and face the hardships that come into their lives.

there was one thing in this book where the mother of the two children has feelings for another man and she knows that she can never show it in the open. they long for each other but cant do anything about it. this is quite sad as it shows that a divorced woman doesnt really have the right in indian families to have feelings and express them after her husband leaves her.but what I think I liked about this part was that the author arundhati is kind of hinting subtly and trying to make people think that why cant a divorced women have feelings. they also have a right to get married again and have feelings.

well it is a brilliant book and written brilliantly too.

in comparison to the other books I have read which are like this, this book is more straightforward and relates to things in this society more well, about its nature, its traditions , etc. there is a quote in this book by John Berger which says that never again will a single story be told as though it’s the only one -- and this is very true in accordance with this book.
