If you want to host a website just for 1 year or purchase a domain just for a year I would recommend you GoDaddy. The prices of all the products once you complete 1 year will increase 5x or around...
Another thing which I found very annoying is the calls you will receive from there marketing schemes for promotion of products and to renew your service (like 10-20 calls) after you have categorically told them not to call and they are not interested....
On a positive note there 24 hrs service helpline is wonderful and money is worth it....
