The Anand team returns to Godavari after an unbelievable response to their previous film. The expectations are bound to be high.
Coming to the Music, Its given by K.M.Radhakrishnan who worked wonders for Anand
So..Lets get Started
Andamgalena Singers:Sunitha, Chorus
As the song starts, one instantly gets the Anand, But..Do We Complain?
Lite Orchestration And Sunithas voice are the highlights of the song.I especially
loved the part where Sunitha goes
Kanulu Kapapa Vaye...
The Chorus adds a nice pleasant feel to it.
A Melodious Start to The Album.
Manasa Gelupu Singers:Chithra K S, Shankar Mahadevan
Supposed to be an inspirational song, this one is a good fusion of Classical and Western style.Shankar Mahadevan is the perfect choice for the song.He sings the song with all the zest and displays amazing control over his alaaps.Chitra Ji supports him throughout and is flawless at that.
Although, I must say the Chorus gets really irritating at the point where it goes Ya Ya..Ya Ya...Thats the only reason why I didnt give this 5/5.
Three Cheers To KMR for carrying this perfectly..well almost
Manasavacha Singers:Chithra K S, Unni Krishnan
Based definitely on a raaga, This composition of KMR gives you a heard-before
feel.Maybe because of people of ARR.Anyways, Sung By Unnikrishnan
And Chitra, This does deserve a listen or two.
Ramachakkani Sita Singer :Gayathri
Next we have Ramachakkani Sita sung By Gayathri.I loved everything about this song. The Lyrics By Veturi are very good and credit must go to KMR and Gayathri for this awesome song.
Thats 5/5 For Ramachakkani Sita
Tippulu Tappulu **1/2 Singer : Shreya Ghoshal
Shreya Ghoshal has played a major role in the success of Anand. She returns for her only song in the album and unfortunately, KMR compostion is average.
Anyways, Its a Rain song and Shreya does her best.
Uppongele Godavari Singer: SPB, Chorus
Thankfully, KMR has saved his best for the last song. This song has everything going with it.Sung with class by SPB, a way only he can.Special mention of the Chorus And Lyrics must be made.
So, Thats 5/5 to finish it off.
Bottomline:There is no way you can miss this album.KMR lives up to the promise to a cool.Lets see what Shekhar Kammula has to offer.
P.S:This is my first revu at MS.Do Add in your comments.
