I am writing a review for such a movie that is a classic and the best movie made..My brother told me to read the novel first and then to watch a movie..Well the writing by Mario Puzo is so amazing that while reading I was imaging things which I was reading..After completing the book, I watched the movie and not just Godfather 1 but Godfather Triology and I must say that this is one triology you should have in your movie shelf..
Godfather movie is about Corleone family, one of the mafia family other than Barzini, Tataghlia and others..Marlon Brando played the character of The Godfather which suited him perfectly..the husky voice, the dialogue throwing ability is awesome..
I do not want to reveal the whole story as it will not do justice for a film to be watched on dvd..Just that how the film goes from start to end and how one of the son of Don Vito Corleone(Brando ), Micheal Corleone, played by Al Pacino who did not wish to join the family business at start, becomes The Godfather.. Great star cast from Marlon Brando to Al Pacino everyone has acted very well in the 1st part of the movie..
Godfather 2 movie is sequel and prequel both how Don Vito Corleone (Brando) became The Don and how Micheal Corleone expands his business. In this film the role of Vito Corleone is played by Robert De Niro..how he starts his business from small time and becomes Don..Robert De Niro has acted brilliantly in this movie..The other plot is the continuation of the 1st part how Corleone family expands their business..Great star cast and good continuation from 1st part..
Godfather 3 movie is the final part of The Godfather Trilogy..This part deals with the life of Micheal Corleone who is growing old and having personal problems also professional problems..His personal life is wrecked as his wife had left him, he wanted his son to be a layer but he doesn’t..while in his professional life he fights hard to make his family business legitimate and wants to remove himself from crime world..but he is not allowed to due to some circumstances..Again this one has Al Pacino in it who has acted brilliantly, while Andy Garcia plays son of Sunny Corleone , Micheal’s elder brother, who joins Micheal Corleone in the business...
All in all a great movie to watch!!!!!!!!!!
