When we consider movies as the mirror of society then we do expect them to picture the reality. And one such movie is six national awards winner ?GODMOTHER?. It?s a movie that makes you think and re-think about the prevailing situations. It doesn?t mourn on the present situation but ask the viewers, should they sit quite and be the dumb watchers of the whole scenario.

Story in the nutshell: -
Lady who had always been undermined takes over the seat of her husband after his death. People think she is fragile and would break soon into pieces and would return to her house-hold chorus she is made for. But she proves them wrong by being in the office for a long time and winning accolades for herself, but well said a person who never looked down his whole life may have to bow down because of kids and this is what happened here.
Life was cool and going straight when one day her son tries to marry a girl who was in love with the man of another caste, it brings in view another issue ? the caste system that had prevailed in Indian society for a long time.
Now what mother should do???? Well, to know what she?ll do watch the movie and let me know how did you find it!!!

What to say about this actor. She is best in whatever she do? May be controversial FIRE, or TEHZEEB or Godmother she is simply mind-blowing. she is a natural actress, when she acts it seems as if she is not SHABANA but the character herself.
May it be her smoking scene or learning to drive one but all are simply awesome. But one thing that I found in her role was monotony of irrationality that could have been avoided.

He proved if one is talented enough then he doesn?t need to have full-fledged role, acting prowess could be proved in a small role as well. He was playing against Shabana, who is his mother?s age but can you find a sign of nervousness or being new on his face. He was as confident as ever.
Music: -
Music is simply great. Mati re?.has some of the best lyrics of Javed and when it is sung by LATAJI then you can think the affect of the song on the masses. Tears trolled from my eyes when I heard this song for the first time, such was the affect of the song on me. The background score is really very appealing. Music director Vishal has done a fantastic job and hope to listen some good pieces again in future. Another song Raja ki kahani?is traditional mixed with little rap. Another good number sung by USHA UTTHUP and KAVITHA KRISHNAMURTHY. Then we have suno re?from Sanjeev. On the whole, album is a treat for all the music lovers.

:: The last scene when Shabana delivers the last speech is not only heart-rendering but also one of the beautiful lines (dialogues) in the whole movie.
