I would like to draw your attention towards the poor service from Godrej appliances, I booked the kitchen appliances with authorized dealer of Godrej appliances ( Ms Assets India at Vaishali). I booked the order on 18th May06 with an advance of Rs 10000 (as demanded) and work was to be completed by 15th Oct.06. I recd. The material for fixing on 13th oct06 and dealer requested for some payments as I made Rs 10, 000/- advance in May and 20, 000/- on 13th Oct.06 against full payment of Rs82, 000/-.As a laymen I am not aware of product but my agreement is for Kitchen.Till 20th Oct06 I kept calling but no action was shown from their side. I visited their showroom on 25th Oct06 but to my surprise no one was there at Showroom(Owners) who could give my replies I called up to owners and asked for the delays, Ist reply was that due to non availability of Technician it has been delayed but when I got angree the lady owner stated blaming me that due to non payments this is very slow.I was surprised as my contract was to make kitchen for me and not just sending the material , which is of no use for me.I contacted area sales manager of Godrej, Mr.Rajeev Khanna on 26th but he was also pro dealer.Then I contaced Mr. Vikram Sajwan, Head of Services and sales at Mathura Road, Godrej.He was bit of helping and send one of his person at site and as per that Technician( Mr. Sharma), the completed work was only 5% instead of 95% which was wrongly informed by the Authorized Dealer .Now I am writing this on 06 th Nov.06 and the completed job is only 20% and I am not sure how much time it will take.And who will bear the loss because of this delay and if it will not be completed by now , I will be forced to pay rent of Rs 8000/ extra .Who will pay this total loss of Rs11, 000/-.Even after contacting the sr. executive Mr. Rajeev Basudeva on 03.11.06 work is still pending.
Having only good products is not sufficient, one must give a service and a follow up is must.If companies will depend only on Dealers and there is no check, brand bets effected.Here I would also like to inform that there was not a single visit of Dealer after the delivery of Material. Dealer is so rude that one can only say, Kahan Phans gaya.
Now I was planning for Refrigerator of Godrej, I need to rethink about my decision.
