Our Godrej Eon refrigerator was bought 3 years ago. It worked fine for the first year. And after that there were frequent problems with the fridge - often the cooling is lost. The service technician comes and does something and it will work for sometime and again it will stop working. In the last 2 years there were at least 4 failures. The most recent one is - fridge lost cooling and the technician said that the fan has stopped working which he claimed to have fixed. But within 2 weeks the cooling was lost again.
Now the same technician says that he had just rotated the fan and made it to work earlier, but now the fan does not rotate at all and needs to be replaced and there is no spare part for it and hence we have to wait. We have been managing for past 1 week with no refrigerator and we dont know when we will get it fixed and how we will get back the money invested in the fridge.
If we call the call center they repeat what the technician says - that there is no spare part. We have absolutely no choice or option - no way to know the status, whether they will get the spare part at all or just dump us (and we have paid for a 4 year Maintenance contract) - we are totally cheated.
Never will I buy another Godrej product again.
