GODREJ SMARTCARE = PATHETIC SERVICE

I have had a very painful experience owning the Eon. I bought one last year Jan(07). I had called in many times in the next 2 months after purchase for DEMO. No show by Godrej. The fridge was working fine and I also did not bother to remind them for a demo after that. however off late in the last one month the fridge is not cooling like before. Sausages, ICE creams and milk gets spoiled very fast, dont freeze. Manytimes it does not work at ALL!


I called the customer service, SMARTCARE  on 040-60002030. I reminded about the demo and they now mentioned that I have to pay for the DEMO!


GODREJ, I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH YOUR PRODUCT AND THE PATHETIC SERVICE. WHY HAVE THE SERVICE CENTRE NOT SENT ANY ONE FOR DEMO EVEN AFTER REPEATED REMINDERS FROM MY SIDE LAST YEAR. I KNOW MANY BRANDS COME FOR DEMO ON THEIR OWN. NOW THE FRIDGE IS GIVING TROUBLE AND YOU SAY THE WARRANTY FOR PARTS IS ONLY FOR 1 YEAR AND THE DEMO IS ALSO VALID FOR ONLY ONE YEAR.


DO YOU THINK THIS IS GOING TO BE VALID IN CONSUMER COURT. I AM SURE AS THE SUNRISE TOMORROW MORNING THAT I AM GOING TO GO TO THE CONSUMER COURT FOR THIS.


YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATES HAVE FAILED TO CALL BACK, FAILED TO SEND A SERVICE PERSON LAST YEAR, AND FOR YOUR MISTAKE SHOULD I PAY. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE.


TO PEOPLE WHO THINK OF BUYING THIS BRAND, HERE IS THE DISCLAIMER. GODREJ IS FOCUSING ON MINTING MONEY EVEN FOR SCREWS AND NUTS FROM ALL IT CUSTOMERS TO MAKE THEIR REAL ESTATE BUSINESS PROSPER. THEY ARE NOT PRODUCING ANY STANDARD PRODUCTS ANYMORE AND PLEASE DO NOT BUY GODREJ EON FOR GODSAKE.
