We used to swear by Godrej Refrigerators as we were loyal customer of Godrej since 40 years, based on our good experience with Godrej Brand, we bought Godrej Eon refrigerator from Vijay Sales on 10/4/2013. It was Gudi Padwa(Hindu Festival) on that day. Our new Godrej Eon arrived and it did not work at all!
We were so disappointed that we got this fridge during the festival and it did not cool at all! Next day we lodged a complain with Godrej smart care and technician arrived. He fixed up some thing and the fridge started working.
For the first 3 months, fridge worked normal. From the 4th month onward there was very thin layer of ice formation on the vegetable compartment which we ignored as it was not causing us much trouble. Just 2 days back, the fridge stopped completely and there was no cooling at all.
I called up the technician he inspected and found that the sensor is not functioning and cooling coil is giving problem. And unfortunately this happened on my elder sons birthday. Just imagine it has ruined my sons birthday. I got fed up with Eon and called up the Godrej Area Sales Head Mr Ketan Sarnobhat 9820995126, instead of offering any concrete solution he rudely said to me that we cannot do anything, we will send some technician and he will fix it up. But there will be no replacement or refund of any matter. If the product is indeed faulty replacement is a must.
There is a fault in Godrej Eon for sure else how it will fail twice in the warranty period and instead of accepting and rectifying the issue, they just ignore the customer problem.
Godrej, if you do not give me a replacement, I will definitely go to consumer court and file a case of cheating customers.
