Unable to bear the drudgery of washing clothes and also to meet the demand of turning out well in office I decided to go for a washing machine. Godrej was a natural choice because it is one of the oldest brand names in India. So throwing out all the other MNC brands out of the window I went for a godrej washing machine!!
While the product was ok, the after sales service was horrible to say the least. The technicians will never turn up on the appointed day and time. The standard refrain was ’’ the technician has already left for your place and will arrive any time now. Please do wait for him.’’ More often than not these waits have been endless and the godrej washing machine has become a nightmare for me!!!
It requires lots of maintenance and each time I try and get a technician to come down I get the shivers.
Hoping that they would improve on their service I decided to enter into an AMC. But after nearly 8 months of signing the maintenance contract and paying by cheque I am yet to receive the AMC papers !!! So you can well imagine what kind of service these guys will give me under the AMC!!!
