I would like to draw your attention on a serious problem which I faced after I bought a Flutter 3 Door wardrobe on 15.06.2012 from Godrej Interio, Madhyamgram, West Bengal of item code FUBEDWD3WFLTR702, amount Rs.30, 225/-.
After the fittings of the wardrobe within a few days ( 5-6 days) we have noticed 15 to 16 scratches , holes on various walls, drawers of the wardrobe.After complaining technician came and reported which resulted in exchange of another set of wardrobe. The whole procedure took more than 1 months and 3 valuable leave from my working day as I had to attend the technician on the 1st day, had to attend the helper to pack the wardrobe in the 2nd day and had to attend the technician again when the fittings of the wardrobe was done on the 3rd day. Not only this , I faced a lot of harassment, whenever I spoke to the customer care as the concerned person’s name and number provided by them was not the right person and hence faced a lot of trouble.
In the month of November’12 again I found 2 scratches in this new exchanged wardrobe.I had complained again. This time I faced a unique behavior. After a week of complaining when nobody called us over telephone I ring back customer care and came to know that my complain is being already closed as they have called me but I have not replied to them, which did not happen in reality.I had to lodge a fresh complain. For your reference old complain no is 429325 and new complain no is 429848.
This time technician who came for verification told that it will take another one month to get the replacement of that particular portion.
Now my question is:-
1) If this keeps continuing and once after the warranty period gets over by this who will take the liability?
2) How come material get damage in such a small time?
3) Who will compensate for the harassment done to my by Godrej?
4) I this the behavior or after sales service provided by a reputed company like Godrej?
5)What you would have done if you were in my place?
