We had a 10 year old Godrej fridge. 2 week’s back there was a blast in my fridge followed by a fire in the same. Luckily we were at home and catch hold of the fire before it could spread. The Fridge was at 8 ffet distance from gas cylinder and if the fire had caught up in big way, there could have been a big casualty at our home. When we called company, they were not ready to even accept that there was a blast in fridge and whatever happened, Godrej company is not responsible.
I request all Godrej fridge owners to be cautious about their fridge and keep their fridge away from gas cylinders. I would not recommend anyone buying a new Godrej fridge given the response of the company on our issue.
