I own the single door godrej pentacool refrigerator.The door frame of deep freeze was hanging. I called up their all india call center no.-=60002030.and the technician visited the next day.
He took out the entire door and informed me that the door frame is to be replaced.iIwas told that he will be back with the same maximum by a weeks time. When I asked him why it is going to take so long, I was told that the door frame will come from Mumbai.
I waited for the entire week and called the customer care again, I was told it will take some more time as it has to come from mumbai. I requested the customer care representative to enquire about exactly how long will it take and call me back. but there was never a call back from them. Now it is almost 15 days since the technician visited .
I again called up the customer care unit yday and enquired about the same and the same answer was repeated - "it will take some time as it has to come from mumbai". When I asked customer service represenetative whether there is any responsible person whom I can talk to and I was given telephone number of a lady called Ms Lavanya.
When I rang her she too gave me the same answer - it will take time as it has to come from mumbai. When I pressed her to provide an answer on why it is taking so long & how long further it will take to have my refrigerator door fixed , she told me that it will be done within this week , till then I can use my refrigerator just like that. So I am waiting for this week to end and hoping some good results from this very much reputed company. I believe even if the door frame was being delivered by a person travelling on foot from mumbai, it should have reached bangalore by now.
