Just a few pointers on the Gocash points offered by goibibo site. Recently Asus Zenfone was running a promo which promised assured GoCash voucher worth 3000 rupees with GoIbibo.com site. The scheme was a decision point for me in purchasing Asus Zenfone selfie phone. However, once I looked at the scheme, I found it a complete useless scheme and just wanted to share it here before other users getting into the illusion of their huge cashback offers from goibibo site.
The site them self runs various offers where huge load of Gocash is offered. for ex: currently they have a promo where on every booking you get Rs.1000 worth gocash credited to your profile account.
But if you check the Terms & conditions, the points will be useless. You cannot use the gocash points not more than worth Rs.100 approx in any transaction. The promo gocash points will be in a different section called’Promot Gocash’ and have a very strange set of spending rules.
Ex: if you use the go cash for domestic flight booking, max points you can use is of 5% of total transaction value or 500 whichever is lower. Catch is worthiness of points is next to null. So don’t get tricked into the amount of promo Gocash credits you earn while making any transaction with goibibo site as well as their partners.

Bus Booking
20% of transaction value and maximum cap Rs. 150 per transaction(whichever is lower). Also a cap of 1 transaction in 24 hours time window
