Myself Akash, I was a happy customer of ibibo till recently I faced an issue with ticket cancellation.
Let me explain my issue in more detail:
On Sep 29 2013,
I booked two bus tickets from Bangalore to Davangere: Journey day for both the tickets was 11th Oct.
1) GOBUS2b37e1380449970 - was booked by logging into my goibibo account through Facebook. - seat no - U14 UB in the name of Akash with my phone number 9844019662
2) GOBUS49d4b1380450391 - was booked as a guest user as it was my friends ticket. - seat no - U13 UB in the name of vallabha with his phone number 9480835942
FYI, both tickets were booked using my Citi Premier Miles card, and the miles were redeemed.
On 9th or 10th Oct 2013,
My friend asked me to cancel his ticket, so I tried cancelling my ticket as a guest user again, but website didnt allow me to do so, since they had to refund money back to me and it has to go to some account.
So I had to login to my account through facebook. I gave the booking id as GOBUS49d4b1380450391, I called up my friend for the OTP which he would have got in his mobile, he told the same and I cancelled his ticket.
I got Rs 295 back in my account, which is fine after all the cancellation fees, but when again logged into my account on 11th Oct to take print out of my ticket i.e GOBUS2b37e1380449970, it was telling my ticket is also cancelled and the status it said as Refund processing.
Now I have one question here, how come when I am cancelling with one ticket ID both the tickets are getting cancelled? when I called up goibibo customer care they are telling me I myself have cancelled both the tickets, which is entirely a story.
I can go to any court to challenge that I have never cancelled my ticket and I can always challenge that I never got a OTP on my mobile for cancellation, whatever the OTP that came it was only on my friends mobile.
I think there is a serious bug in goibibo site which they have to rectify. In my case it was only a bus ticket, what if I had booked some flight ticket?
Now because of this bug at ibibo end, I didnt get my seat it was sold to someone, till now only Rs 295 has been credited in my account of only one ticket. On top of it I had to travel on that day with other bus which had cost me Rs800. I had a back pain hence I booked sleeper but goibibo people have cancelled it and I had to go with a normal bus and since it was a festival time ticket fares were sky rocketing.
On top of it I had to fight with SRE people like anything, in front of so many people, goibibo people were the cause of all this mental torture I had to suffer.
Now in simple words, I want the justice. I even contacted customer care through phone and also wrote mail to ibibo people but I never got any response. Hence I have copy pasted the same thing here word to word since they dont even maintain the mails which customer writes.
! Truthly speaking I would have given any rating only, because they dont deserve it, but rating 1 is the least I could give, hence I am giving it!
