Incorrect flight selection by GOIBIBO system

Hi,


I am dissatisfied with the services of GOIBIBO.COM and below is the extract of the mail sent to their team on Dec 29 00:26AM


As per my discussion with Sachin of your call centre executive today, please find below the list of events which caused me lot of dismay and agony at the services of GOIBIBO.COM


Below are the list of events for your kind perusal.


1.I have tried making a booking with your website for Jan 10 (Hyd-Varanasi via SG-116) and return journery on Jan 12 (Varanasi-Del via SG-2380 and Del-Hyd SG-233)


2.I have selected the above mentioned flights in the search page and went to the next screen to fill the traveller details and made the payment.


3.After I received the ticket to my surprise the ticket has Del-Hyd flight no as SG-239. The arrival time of SG-233 is 15:50 whereas the arrival time of SG-239 is 21:45. PNR: SGSM4BLG


4.Surprised with this I have tried performing the same steps to cross verify if I have selected wrong flights by any chance. Hence I have re-searched the same flight details and have recorded the MAGIC created by your system which can be accessed at

5.The new flight auto selected by your intelligent system doesn’t serve my purpose as we have better things to do in life rather than loitering around the hyderabad airport till the night.




  1. I have immediately called up your call centre around noon today and the executive claims that there is no such error.However when I claimed that I have a recording he informed to send the same and it will be investigated and actioned in 2-3 working days (which means expecting the resolution on Jan 3)




  2. He also mentioned in case resolution is not provided I may need to cancel/reschedule and pay the price difference and bear the cancel+reschedule charges too.Since the time is running away I have made the booking with your competitor for the same schedule at a much cheaper price of 12772/- against your price.






Due to the issues faced from your end I demand below to be done immediately and confirm to me.


1.Cancellation of complete journey with PNR: SGSM4BLG immediately and refund of complete amount to my credit card account. I will not accept any cancellation charges as the issue is with your system and I have a recording of the same with which I can sue your company in the consumer court.


2.Your TV campaign boasts of LOWEST AIRFARE CHALLENGE and in case low fare is shown, you claim to reimburse double the difference amount. I need double the difference amount as claimed also to be credited to my card account as I am shocked looking at the price difference which is running into thousands. (have attached MakeMyTrip.com ticket booked and invoice for your reference.


Awaiting a response on priority basis in this regard. Call me on 98191xxxxx for any concerns in this regard. The traveler number 94406xxxxx belongs to my father.
