Endless Follow up until you give up and Fraud

I had booked a flight with Goibibo for my father on November 20th’2018(Booking reference: AMDUVEWBL).


I had put in all the details for him including his passport details, name etc. As soon as I booked the ticket, the name got changed to my name as I was logged in. On the same day within 24 hours, I followed up with flight(Lufthansa) who told that you can get 100% refund for this booking as it is within 24 hours and told to follow up with Goibibo since it is booked with the third party.


Then, I also followed up with Goibibo(via Contact Us on the website) and customer support(on call) and they started giving me ETA of 24 hours to 48 hours to check with flight and call them again. I spoke to Harsh Sharma, Salman Zaidi, Azad Singh, Prabjeet, Mehul, Saloni, Chanda, Kamaljeet Kaur and many more executives on customer care and they told me an Estimated Wait Time and to wait while it is resolved.


I also spoke to people from management Karan and Gaurav Gandhi and they told me that they will speak about a full refund or will try to get the name changed from airlines or get 100% refund. They also gave me false promises that they will speak to the technical team. Only Gaurav Gandhi amongst them knows how to speak nicely else everyone needs training and needs to be on the same page as everyone speaks a different tone and guides you differently.


I lost 50, 000 Rupees because of their due to their ignorance. At last, their executive Vipul Linkson(someone who calls himself from upper management) has no sense of how to talk to a customer and moreover how to speak to a lady. He is the most disgusting/shameless representative I have ever spoken to, no manner to talk, no sense of what the customer has been through by following up on regular basis and how much money they are losing. I was following up from the USA in midnight in their daytime and they used to make me wait for around 2 hours every day to speak to an executive who knows my case and even then, every time a new representative used to speak and I had to explain the same scenario again.


And at the end, I had to bear dynamic high price of the airline as the price got increased due to their baseless estimate and at the same time, they charged me cancellation fees due to their fault. I strictly do not recommend anyone to book from Goibibo as they have the most scandalous website. No customer support help. No executive is on the same page as they will all guide you differently.
