I am Manikandan from Chennai. I want to share the horrible bus journey which happened on may 18-2013 with VJC travels(operator from tuticorin).the bus started at Thiruchendur at 8pm before reaching Turicorin driver hit the bus in advertise board but no damage just with scratch then bus is leaving to Chennai from tuticorin after 2 hours delay.
Around 3pm bus got breakdown near Perambalur seems bus not at all starting, the driver & owner(owner son traveling in the same bus) said another our bus is coming we will arrange something the bus came after 2 hour (came to know that they changed the flat tire near Madurai 1 hour late), the bus was full since peak summer holiday and then they said we will hire a bus/van but they just dragged 3 hours nothing happened, finally they said we will refund the amount take the govt buses, based on the belief most of them left including me after lot struggled I have reached Chennai around 1pm(supposed to be 6am), when I approached goibibo for refund (i booked the ticket through goibibo) the operator said to goibibo we have arranged the alternate buses (its lie).
The goibibo dont have capable to get the at least partial refund from the operator so please dont book the ticket through goibibo they will not support for breakdown cases, infact I have sent the scanned copy of the eticket where operator owner son agreed & signed for refund the full amount also govt bus ticket to goibibo...But nothing happened so dont go with goibibo also customer service worst...Also never travel with junk VJC travels
