Hi,
I am writing this email in regards to my query with reference number 19611759309043904.
I had booked air tickets from Bangkok to Phuket to travel on 12th October 2024. However, due to some mistake I instantly on the same day proceeded with the cancellation of the same after communication with the Goibibo Customer service and I was informed that due to cancellation I would be charged 1890/- INR from the original amount and the remaining will be refunded.
However, I received the notification that the refund of 26, 083/- INR has been initiated instead of 35389.12/- INR. Hence, when I called the customer service again I was told that there is a system glitch and once I receive 26, 083/- I will receive the rest of the amount later. Also, I was told to call the customer service again once I receive 26, 083/- in my amount and then Goibibo will contact me back in 24 hours which I did as per instructions but I didn’t receive any calls from your side. Hence, I called customer service and I was told that the supervisor of customer service advisor who talked with me initially will listen to the call recording and get back to me in 24 hours but that didn’t happen either. So, I followed up today as well and this time asked to talk with a senior advisor or manager for which I was put on hold for 40 minutes and than informed that the supervisor is busy and sent me an email that I will receive a phone call from your side within 2 hours which again according to the habits of Goibibo customer service I didn’t.
This is taking too much of my time and getting nowhere. The services I have received from your side are rather botched, unprofessional, and not reliable at all. It seems like the employees are not in cohesion and do not have all the information to support the customer. Since, it is taking too long just to issue a simple refund I am afraid I dont find Goibibo trustworthy and reliable for any of the services they offer.
Since, in the last email you expressed your interest to provide a satisfactory resolution I would kindly request you to find me a satisfactory resolutionin the next 24 hours by giving me the full refund instead of even charging me with the 1890/- INR as a compensation.
I hope you take this matter seriously and resolve the issue as soon as possible. I also request you to send me the confirmations and agreements we have over phone call in an email for record and to avoid any miscommunication of any sort following this email.
